Your Right to Opt Out

Under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA) and California Privacy Rights Act (CPRA), California residents have the right to opt out of the "sale" or "sharing" of their personal information.

What Does "Sale" or "Sharing" Mean?

Under California law:

  • "Sale" means disclosing personal information to third parties for monetary or other valuable consideration

  • "Sharing" means disclosing personal information to third parties for cross-context behavioral advertising

Does MoShipCo Sell Personal Information?

We do not sell personal information in the traditional sense. We do not sell your business data, customer information, or inventory details to third parties.

However, California law may consider certain activities as "sales" or "sharing," including:

  • Advertising Cookies: We use Meta (Facebook) Pixel and similar technologies that may share browsing data with advertising platforms for the purpose of showing relevant ads to businesses

  • Analytics Services: We use analytics tools that may receive aggregated usage data

We do not share:

  • Your customer data (end recipient information)

  • Your inventory or order data

  • Your business financial information

  • Any data collected as part of providing our 3PL services

How to Opt Out

Option 1: Submit an Opt-Out Request

Option 2: Email Us

Send an email to operations@moshipco.com with the subject line "Do Not Sell My Information" and include:

  • Your business or contact name

  • Email address associated with your account

  • Confirmation that you are a California resident

Option 3: Call Us

Call us at 385-444-7447 and ask to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information.

Option 4: Browser/Device Settings

You can also limit tracking by:

  • Enabling Global Privacy Control (GPC): We honor GPC signals from your browser

  • Disabling Third-Party Cookies: Adjust your browser settings to block third-party cookies

  • Opting Out of Interest-Based Ads: Visit DAA Opt-Out or NAI Opt-Out

What Happens After You Opt Out?

Once we process your opt-out request:

  • We will stop sharing your website browsing data for advertising purposes

  • Advertising cookies (like Meta Pixel) will be disabled for your browser/device

  • You will no longer see targeted ads from us on social media or other platforms

  • This does not affect:

    • Essential cookies needed for our Services to function

    • Data sharing necessary to provide our 3PL services (shipping carriers, payment processors, etc.)

    • Your account functionality or service quality

Note: Opting out is browser and device-specific. You'll need to opt out separately on each browser and device you use.

Verification Process

To protect your privacy, we may need to verify your identity before processing your request. We may ask you to:

  • Confirm your email address or phone number

  • Provide additional account information

  • Verify recent activity on your account
